Beth El is a small Jewish Cemetery located on 830-34 E. Colvin St, Syracuse, NY 13210.  It was originally affiliated with Temple Beth El, an Orthodox Jewish synagogue formed in 1965 in Syracuse, New York. Temple Beth El originally belonged to the Orthodox Union, then about 1997 it joined the Union for Traditional Judaism. Later, in 2002, it changed to a Conservative affiliation, and held its final service on January 27, 2007. It is part of a cemetery complex along East Colvin Road and Jamesville Avenue.  In some obituaries it is referred to as “Jewish Cemeteries on Jamesville Avenue”, “Jamesville Gates”, and also “Workman’s Circle”.
